The Apostolic Carmel Congregation
The Apostolic Carmel is a Catholic religious congregation founded by Mother Veronica of the Passion in 1868 at Bayonne, France. The congregation was established with the specific mission of educating young girls and women, combining spiritual formation with academic excellence.
The sisters of the Apostolic Carmel arrived in India in the late 19th century and established numerous educational institutions across the country. Their mission extends beyond the classroom - they are dedicated to the holistic development of every child, nurturing not just intellectual growth but also moral and spiritual values.
